The taming of the beast: Hyaena, a commuter's dream

Nel 2015, ho modificato la mia Hyaena montando un manubrio meno rialzato. A fine 2015, ho iniziato a andare al lavoro in bicicletta con una certa regolarità (sono necessari circa 35/40 minuti per coprire circa 16 km). Una sera di Febbraio, a causa del buio, delle pessime condizioni della strada e di una particolare situazione di traffico, ho colpito una buca in piena velocità, intaccando il cerchio anteriore, spostando lo sterzo, e forando entrambe le gomme. E' stata l'occasione per cambiare entrambi i cerchi, gli stessi dal 2000, con due nuovi Ambrosio Excursion scuri, a profilo più basso. Nelle immagini sotto, potete vedere la Hyaena come appariva a metà 2016.
A fine 2016, è stata ripristinata la sella originalmente in dotazione e è stato asportato il doppio porta-borraccia posteriore, che tendeva a staccarsi ed era comunque scomod da raggiungere.

In 2015, i modified my Hyaena by mounting a less raised handlebar. At the end of 2015, I begun to go to work by bicycle quite regularly (35/40 minutes are needed to cover around 16 km). One evening in February, because of the darkness, the regrettable conditions of the road and a particular traffic situation, i hit a pothole at full speed, notching the anterior rim, displacing the steer and puncturing both the tyres. It was the occasion to change both the rims, unaltered since year 2000, with two new dark Ambrosio Excursion. In the pictures below you can see the Hyaena as it looked at middle 2016.
At the end of 2016, the saddle was replaced with the original one, and the double bottle cage was removed - the clamp didn't hold well and anyway the bottles were uneasy to grab.
