Campioni audio di canti di Eterotteri acquatici / Aquatic Heteropteran songs audio samples

Questa pagina dà accesso a campioni sonori ricavati dalle mie registrazioni in natura del canto di Eterotteri acquatici (Nepomorpha). Per me si tratta solo di un hobby, le mie attrezzature non sono professionali e non sono in grado di garantire un risultato ideale. Inoltre non ho mai catturato o tenuto cicale in cattività. In molti casi non ho visto l’insetto cantare, e in questi casi l’identificazione è basata quasi esclusivamente sulla comparazione dell’oscillogramma e dello spettrogramma con quelli ricavati da CD commerciali di riferimento. La responsabilità degli errori di identificazione è esclusivamente mia.

This page gives access to the audio samples derived from my field recordings of aquatic Heteropteran (Nepomorpha) songs. For me, it’s just an hobby, my audio devices are not professional and cannot ensure an ideal result. Furthermore, (except the case of A. domesticus and G. bimaculatus, commercially obtained for the purpose of recording their song) I never captured or held insects in captivity. In many cases I did not even see the singing insect, and even in those rare cases I almost never photographed it, therefore the sight of the animal only very seldom helped in the identification, that is exclusively based on the comparison of the oscillogram and of the spectrogram with those obtained from commercial reference CD. The responsibility for errors in identification is exclusively mine.

Nella lista che segue, un click sul nome della specie apre la scheda descrittiva del campione audio, dalla quale è possibile scaricare e ascoltare il campione audio in formato mp3 (lo standard Wav PCM 44100 Hz è stato usato solo dove la qualità dell'mp3 era inaccettabile), e vedere le bitmap a bassa risoluzione e 256 colori del relativo oscillogramma e spettrogramma generati da Adobe Audition 1.0. Non ho preso nota della temperatura dell'aria al momento della registrazione.

In the following list, a click on the species name opens a description of the audio sample, from which it is possible to download and hear the audio sample in mp3 format (the standard Wav 44100Hz PCM format was used only where the quality of the mp3 was unacceptable, as for R. nitudula), and to see the low resolution, 256 color bitmaps of the respective oscillogram and spectrogram generated by Adobe Audition 1.0. I didn't take note of air temperature at the moment of recording.
